Job Description:
This Bar Back position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, quick learning person who is driven by a desire to perfect recipes and learn on the go.
The entire bar team depends on the Bar Back to provide accurately prepared ingredients, deliver products (juices, syrups, infusions, ice, kegs, bottled beer, etc.
) in a timely manner, forecast business, and lead the team through countless busy services.
There is no better way to learn the ins and outs of a complex cocktail bar than by being the Bar Back, the assistant to the specialists who transform raw materials into wonderfully tasting cocktails.
Learn from dedicated bar professionals the how and why of each preparation, the history of cocktails, and the style of technique and service required to become a modern professional bartender.
Duties include:
Stocking kegs, bottled beer, and other products Juicing fresh citrus Building syrups, mixes, and cordials Batching large-format cocktails Carbonating and nitrogenizing draft drinks Preparing garnishes Maintaining the cleanliness of bar and workspace Anticipating bartender and customer needs Company Overview The Feinstein Group is one of the most well-respected, award-winning hospitality groups in the Tampa Bay Area.
