The hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facility efficiently provides high quality care that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions and create savings The candidate selected to assume the role of a Patient Service Specialist will be part of a fast growing, highly innovative healthcare organization.

Position Responsibilities A Patient Service Specialist will play a very key role in the success of the facility and the patient's overall experience.
Strict adherence to organizational Protocols and Values is a must.
A Patient Service Specialist is responsible for but not limited to:
entering new patients into the patient database verifying insurance getting authorization from insurance companies putting together patient charts scheduling patient appointments collecting copays and contracted rates from patients coordinating admissions auditing charts for completeness and obtaining any missing information from the clinical team Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Previous patient services experience in a medical office setting preferred Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screen and drug test Able to perform the duties expected for an active role in a busy office environment (standing, walking, teaching, public speaking, pulling, pushing, lifting, etc.
) Ability to use all necessary office equipment (faxes, copiers, computers, telephones, etc.
) Able to stand and work up to 12-hours in a day Job Type:
