Manager, Case Management - Alliant

The Manager, Case Management - Alliant (LTCH), directs and coordinates the functions and activities of the Case Management & Social Services department. Responsibilities include outcomes management, utilization management, data analysis/reporting, and staff management. Oversees the utilization review and discharge planning processes, reporting data to various committees, Medical Executive Committee, Governing Board, etc. Works directly with other departmental managers, directors, physicians, and payers to help ensure quality of care. Monitors Case Management activities, ensuring regulatory standards are met and that the Interdisciplinary process is initiated upon admission and continued throughout the stay. Manages the clinical documentation specialists to ensure the appropriate utilization of healthcare resources in the appropriate setting. In collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, patient caregivers, health information management (HIM), and coding staff, the Manager, Case Management acts as a consultant and educator in documentation guidelines and appropriateness of level of care.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
