Position Overview:
Follows established procedures and guidelines to form a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process; loads materials into production machines; removes packs and sorts raw materials or finished products; collects and disposes of garbage and production waste; cleans production equipment and work areas. Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for this career stream; works under direct supervision.

+ Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English, and accurately and legibly complete forms.
+ Able to read and comprehend written materials, signs and product labels.
+ Able to perform simple mathematics and learn basic Statistical Process Control techniques.
+ Ability to understand and follow directions.
+ Ability to meet performance expectations in categories of Quality, Safety, and Environmental.
+ Familiar with and able to run automated equipment.
+ Ability to understand and follow directions.
+ Experienced or able to learn the use of operator OIT control panels.
+ Good mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shut-down, make minor machine adjustments, understand machinery, conveyor logic and controls, and possess good troubleshooting skills.
+ Able to identify line problems, nonconforming product, and employ corrective actions.
+ Able to acquire a valid forklift license and be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
+ Able to lift up to 50 pounds and use safe work practices to perform all tasks. Able to understand and use MSDS.
+ Work an eight and a half (8 1/2) hour unpaid lunch shift with overtime and or extended hours as required, and work any shift as directed.
+ Acquire a forklift license and operate forklift safely.
+ Complete sanitation PM's on a timely basis.
+ Maintain GMP: clean, sweep, mop, and scrub production area equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings as required.
+ Perform equipment set-ups, clean-ups, autonomous maintenance, and other operational duties.
+ Visually inspect all incoming materials and report nonconformance's.
+ Visually inspect finished goods, making minor corrections and reporting all nonconformance's.
+ Able to identify line and equipment problems and employ corrective actions as required.
+ Possess a good mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shut-down, understanding machinery and conveyor logic and controls, and possess good troubleshooting skills.
+ Monitor computer terminals and OIT screens. Ability to understand and perform LOTO according to OSHA requirements and SOP's.
+ Climb ladders up to 15 feet. Perform all essential job functions affecting quality according to the quality system procedures, work instructions and Company standards.
+ Required to run multiple machines, including fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment; perform line inspections, perform multiple tasks on drum filling line, perform all required quality checks and accurately complete required documentation.
+ Perform additional production responsibilities as assigned.
+ Personal Protective Equipment and GMP supplies.
+ MSDS and Quality System Workstation Books.
+ Basic equipment tools.
+ Banding and sealing tools, scrapers, air hoses, cleaning and painting equipment.
+ Calculators, telephones, and two-way radios.
+ General production equipment; including fillers, robots, case erectors, casers, case coders, hot glue systems, shrink wrappers, conveyors, manual and electric pallet lifts, push/pull devices, lifting devices, cleaning equipment, and forklifts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
